Hildegard von Bingen
Hildegard was born in 1098 and died on 17 september 1179 at the age of 81. She was known as Saint Hildegard and Sibyl of the Rhine.
She was a german writer, composer, abbess and visionary. She wrote a lot of biological books and she knew a lot of plants. She also wrote medicine books, poems and songs.
She was the first woman who build a monastery and became a roll model for women and girls. Hildegard was a Saint and an inspiration till today.

The object that expresses Hildegard is her writing plank. At a lot of her images you can see her with that writing plank so it was very important to her. She wrote down all her visions on that plank.
